Salutations! I am an audio-visual artist fascinated with the early visual-music works of John Whitney, Jordan Belson and Norman McLaren as well as their individual approach to an experimental new medium. While these last three produced works of an abstract nature, elucidating certain ineffable qualities of tension and harmony, my goal is to expand on some of the techniques they have pioneered using the computational powers available today and root them in my personal exploration of the perceptual relationship of legacy electronic sounds as they relate to the themes of climate, environment, and evolutionary anthropology.
To this end, I have developed my own set of unique and custom tools which embed comprehensive audio-synthesis techniques within a real-time media development software. These create a workflow which essentially does not discern between audio or visual data. The kind of expertise needed to accomplish this has been amassed through years of single-minded learning aided in large part by the accessibility of informative material on the internet to which I have begun to contribute.
